Starcraft Fanart - En Taro Zeratul

Starcraft fanart made as a prop making practice. I wanted to start from a concept art, to practice following these to make models.
This is Zeratul's chest piece, although the one seen in game and in cinematics varies somewhat from this concept art.
I decided to stick to the concept art rather than the in game model, and there for ended up with a model with more details, but maybe less overall readability if it was seen from further away (like a full body shot).
Poly count rests at 14k Tris for the low poly (high was a couple millions). Could be lower, as the chainlinks are fairly high in density for their size, but I didn't want to sacrifice some of their shape. In a game making context, this would have been done differently.

Base shape was modelled in Blender, then sculpted in Zbrush.
Low poly obtained by retopologizing the sculpt in Blender.
Textured in Substance Painter and Desinger (Desinger for the gem). Rendered in Marmoset.

The concept art is the property of Blizzard.
